An OFDMA-PON communication system works on same channel and signal on which weak or strong signal/data can communicate. Due to the mismatching of channel/signal, loss occurs and it creates problem to throughput of data in the system. Hence, an improvement is required to remove this limitation in OFDMA-PON system. But developing an efficient network due to an issue of subcarrier scalability in these networks is a challenging job, because OFDMA-PON has been considered as the next-level PON to improve the systems performance. An OFDMA-PON system outperforms over all other related systems, but not utilizes dynamic bandwidth allocation. Therefore, this research work proposed a fuzzy based DBA algorithm for OFDMA-PON system to enhance the performance of network. Experiment analysis indicate that the proposed technique significantly provide improve results over existing techniques.

A potential leadership divests organizations and society because these individuals fail to realize their full potential. Fear of success can be defined as persons who fail to realize their full potential and withdraw from success, because of the negative consequences that prevent the person from dreaming and achieving his goals. Self-esteem is a factor contributing to personal satisfaction and effective functioning, a realization that they are good and valuable individuals. The purpose of the present study was to examine the relationship between the fear of success and self-esteem among Multinational Company managers. It also aimed to study the gender differences between the fear of success and self-esteem. This study was based on an empirical investigation conducted among 40 male and 40 female professional managers from various middle management of various organizations. The instruments used for this research were Fear of Success (Zuckerman & Allison, 1976) and State Self-Esteem scale (Heatherton & Polivy, 1991). Correlation and t-test were used for analyzing the results. Obtained results showed there was a significant correlation between self-esteem and fear of success. Components of self-esteem show significant correlation with fear of success. Male managers were significantly higher than female managers on self-esteem, while female managers were significantly higher than their male counterparts on fear of success. Implications for practice and research are discussed in the present study. Keywords

A descriptive study was undertaken to assess the effectiveness of Structured Teaching Programme on blood donation among the college going students of selected colleges of Ludhiana, Punjab. A quasi experimental study with single group pretest-posttest design was conducted on a total of 50 college going students. Structured Teaching Programme on blood donation was developed. Based on Structured Teaching Programme, a Self Structured Questionnaire was prepared to assess the pretest-posttest knowledge scores of study subjects regarding blood donation. Descriptive and inferential statistical tests were used for data analysis. Findings of the study revealed that the mean posttest knowledge scores (23.78) of subjects regarding blood donation were significantly (p<0.01) higher than their pretest knowledge scores (12.64) after administration of Structured Knowledge Programme. In pre-test, maximum 28 (56%) of subjects has average knowledge scores followed by 19 (38%) which were having poor knowledge scores and 2 (4%) who had very poor knowledge scores. Only 1 (2%) had good knowledge score. None of the subject had very good knowledge score in pretest. After administration of Structured Teaching Programme, the level of post knowledge score of subjects increased as in post-test 24 (48%) of subjects students achieved very good knowledge scores followed by 20 (40%) who had good level of knowledge scores. Only 6 (12%) had average knowledge scores. None of the subjects had poor or very poor level of knowledge scores. There were no statistically significant (p>0.05) association between the posttest knowledge scores of the subjects on blood donation and their birth order in the family, habitat, type of family and monthly family income. Hence, administration o f Structured Teaching Programme on blood donation was very effective on college going students. Keywords
